Article Lookup

Article ID
is a fixed identification number of each article; your guide to further exploring the Visual Career Maps and the Relational Grids
Blurb
biography of the profiled politicians; a brief, yet complete background check on the political figures that we are keeping track of
Comment
quote extracted from the original articles; can be that of the targets or other people's comments regarding certain issues or specific individuals, esp. about the targets [also see Statement]
Relational Grid
contains the summary of all the names of individuals, groups, and/or organizations that either showed support, or opposition, or neutrality to the targets; use the look up function in conjunction with the article id to maximize your results.
Target
the people we monitor; all of whom are politicians [see Profiled politician]
VMap
short for Visual Career Map; a unique visual guide about the target's activities and/or stances ; is horizontally divided by issues, and/or vertically split into either For and Against columns
Chart
graphical presentation of the polling results provided by various polling sites
Stance
target’s view (for or against) on certain issues
Abstract
is the shortened version of the original news article that contains the most essential and relevant facts or updates about the target ; is more or less 30% of the entire length of the news article
